How to buy my NFT?

In my blog post about the launch of my NFT collection you find all information about the Symbiosis project itself and why it is on the Tezos blockchain.

 This is a step by step guide to help you:
1. Buy Tezos
2. Set up a digital wallet
3. Send Tezos to your digital wallet
4. Actually buy the NFT

1. How to buy Tezos?

Tezos (XTZ) is the cryptocurrency needed to buy one of my NFTs. You can buy and trade Tezos at most big cryptocurrency exchanges. I can’t give a one-size-fits-all recommendation for which exchange to use, as this depends on where you live. Binance and Kraken are two of the biggest exchanges worldwide, while Blox and Bitvavo are the most popular exchanges in the Netherlands.

Pick an exchange and create your account. Then buy or trade to get Tezos. Your exchange should have plenty of information and tutorials to help you with this. You are going to need a little bit more Tezos than the selling price of the NFT, to cover for transaction fees. An additional 0.3 Tezos should be enough.

2. How to set up a digital wallet for Tezos?

You now have Tezos in the account of your exchange. However, you will need your Tezos in a separate digital wallet that you can connect to the NFT marketplace. Temple is the most popular digital wallet for Tezos. It is a browser extension that you install on your laptop.

Here is a video that shows you how to download the Temple extension and open your own digital Tezos wallet.

Note: Make sure to use a unique password and save your 12-word seed phrase in a safe place!

3. How to send Tezos to your digital wallet?

Now it is time to move the Tezos from your exchange to your digital Tezos wallet. If you just created a Temple wallet, here is another video that shows you how to open it.

When you open your Tezos wallet, you will see your Tezos wallet address. This address starts with tz, followed by a long list of numbers and letters. You can click on the address to copy it. Now go to your exchange, look for your Tezos, and click ‘withdraw’. Paste your Tezos address, the number of Tezos that you would like to send, and then confirm the transaction.

Your Tezos should arrive into your Tezos wallet within 15 minutes.

4. How to buy the Symbiosis NFT?

You now have Tezos in your digital Tezos wallet. This means that you can go to my Symbiosis collection and connect your wallet.

When you are on the Objkt website, click sync in the right top corner. Then connect your digital wallet by signing the confirmation. Your wallet is now connected to NFT marketplace, ready to buy an NFT!

On the Symbiosis page you can see which NFTs are listed for sale. If they are listed, you can pay the asking price. The NFT is then sent to your digital wallet. You can see it by clicking on your Account (top right corner) and ‘Owned’.
